A secret ;)
from top to bottom, left to right: Elizabeth, Harrison, Kitty, Angelina
What have you done to me? you ask through a blood-soaked throat.
A rhythmic thumping echoes in your ears. Cold, wet earth wedges between your teeth; your tongue feels fuzzy with dirt. You peel open your eyes.
Your pupils blow out, twinned voids drinking in what should be total darkness. Planks of plywood stretch overhead. Panic forces your hands up until you're scratching against the wood, scrambling for freedom. Terror and rage bleed out of every pore.
Soil falls into your mouth. You gasp. Oxygen floods your throat and sets it ablaze. You're on fire. Your stomach spasms, a cramp bringing tears to your eyes. Hollow--empty. Starving.
You've been buried alive.
"Knock it off. You'll be out in a second."
You wake up in a grave. Your grave. Fuzzy memories come crawling back. A nightclub. A stranger. A flashing smile; teeth in your throat. They creep back until you remember your own death. Before the details settle, steady hands pull you out of your casket. You've changed, the mouth that killed you explains. The caterpillar and the butterfly. You're something else, something better. A vampire.
I kissed you.
I killed you.
I turned you into a god.

Seek out love after death...or something like it.
Neverland is an 18+ dark supernatural romance work in progress in the early stages of creation. It's a story about terrible people doing terrible things to one another. And vampires. Mostly vampires. This is my secondary project and for the time being, updates will be extremely infrequent.

Isaac (M)
To your knowledge, Isaac might be the only covenless vampire in the city. He looks at you with a methodical detachment, like you're something to study. A scientist and a warlock, he's been hired to do something almost unheard of: find the cure for vampirism.
For nearly three years, a mysterious creature has terrorised the region of Gévaudan. Described by survivors as wolf-like and relentless, it kills indiscriminately, taking men, women and children alike, leaving behind only what the strongest could stomach. Many have taken up arms, from simple farmers and hunters to soldiers and even nobles hungry for glory.
None have succeeded.
To this day the mystery remains. Is it a wolf? A hyena? A werewolf? A wizard, or simply a human murderer? Somewhere between folklore and nightmare, between cautionary tale and genuine terror, the Beast of Gévaudan still eludes all.
Only one person knows the truth.
You.
Why?
Because you are the Beast of Gévaudan.
An 18th century interactive fiction set in rural France, while inspired by the real historical legend it is not an accurate historical one.
Play as a werewolf navigating grief, secrets, and survival in a world that would destroy you if it knew what you were. The Church and the Third Estate cast long shadows here, but misogyny, homophobia, racism and transphobia, while rooted in that history, have been deliberately pushed to the back. The fights were fought but the scars remain.
Play as a werewolf who is struggling with control over its form.
Full character customisation: pronouns & gender, hair color and texture, height, skin color, personality (between 4 possible), your job (between Blacksmith and Doctor), and more...
A reverse thriller at its core: you are the killer. You are what everyone is hunting. How long can you keep this up?
Navigate the politics of 18th century France: the Church, the Nobility, the Tiers État, and what it means to survive in a country on a verge of revolution, that was never built for people like you in the first place.
Branching narrative shaped by your choices: what you do, who you trust, what you hide.
Themes of grief, identity, redemption, found family, social and economical class, faith, and the particular terror of being known.
Four romanceable characters all with their own secrets, or, if that’s not your thing, play the friend route
Louisette "Lou" Valet
she/her | the innkeeper
(Lou is a trans woman and a lesbian)
Description: rozy skin often sunburnt, green-blue eyes, red curly hair, and freckles. She has the brightest smile in all the village.
Vibes: Your closest friend, your steadiest constant, the person who stayed when everyone else stopped trying. A friends-to-lovers romance for those who believe that the most terrifying thing in the world is letting someone who already loves you, sees all of you.
Camille Antoine
they/them | the king’s hunter,
(Camille is Non-Binary and Demi)
Description: warm black skin, tall, dark eyes and long eyelashes, with long locs tied in an intricate ponytail, broad shoulders. They're quite strong but in a slender way.
Vibes: they were sent by the king himself to do one thing: kill the Beast of Gévaudan. They don't know they've already met it. Warm, composed, and irritatingly good at everything. They try to hide the weight of expectation on their shoulders. A romance for those who like the workaholic golden one; who wish to see the person behind the veneer.
Alexis Chastel
she/her or he/him | the gamekeeper
(While Alexis gender is selectable, they are more of a "masc" person)
Description: Tall and strong in a heavy way, Tan skin, littered in scars, hazel eyes and a brown buzzcut.
Vibes: more comfortable in the forest than in any room with people in it. Alexis knows this land better than anyone. They know every trail, every creature, every hiding place. Quiet, but not unkind. The kind of person who shows up rather than speaks up. A romance for those who like gentle giants and Strong Silent types.
Hyacinthe
she/her or he/him | the bard
(While Hyacinthe gender is selectable, they are more of a "fem" person)
Description: French-born and Indian-descend, brown skin, dark hair, deep brown eyes, hair tied in a ponytail and a crooked nose. They are on the smaller side of average.
Vibes: Passing through, as always, and armed with a smirk that suggests they know something you don't. Hyacinthe arrives with a song, stays for reasons they won't admit, and leaves before things get complicated. A push-and-pull romance for those who like a reformed rake

FLESH REVIVAL is a narrative-driven paranormal and found footage horror game featuring themes of witchcraft and mythology, psychological distress, and mature, disturbing subject matter intended for 18+ audiences.
a self-built website with a youtube channel, created by you and your two best friends, EDEN and WINONA, where people online can submit requests involving paranormal activity in hopes of it being handled by you three investigators.
provided with footage, most clients don’t ask too many personal questions. which is a good thing… for now.
anyway, want to communicate with ghosts? sure. need them banished from your home or business? a little difficult but not impossible.
when a new request comes in all the way from north dakota, there’s no way you’d turn it down. because this isn’t a case of one ghost. or even a family of them. it’s an entire location filled with unidentified entities.
camp hillbird in halvrest.
submitted by spitkisser00 (who is this person?), the request goes into detail about the town but focuses on camp hillbird, known as a hotel and camping resort. tourists and locals alike have reported seeing "specters" wandering the land.
the county police don’t bother with anything supernatural (they do not believe. not surprising.) so spitkisser00 turns to flesh revival instead.
they made the right call. after all, the resort and town would be in the hands of a ghost-hunting tech expert, an occult specialist, and you. the clairvoyant who can see the otherworldly with a membrane filter under your eyelids.
inspiration derives from franchises such as tales from the gas station, supernatural, silent hill, the ritual, the blair witch project, phasmophobia, and ghost files.
WHO ARE YOU ? fully customize yourself. choose your gender, pronouns, appearance, clothing style, personality, the skills you specialize in, and level up your clairvoyant ability.
GEAR UP FOR THE UNKNOWN. test out advanced ghost-hunting equipment, including new ones aided by the ahlstrand family.
DOCUMENTATION. own a detailed journal of everything you encounter. record evidence and their patterns, determine what kind of entities you’re dealing with. you will also get to read your self-entries.
TRUST NO ONE (OR DO ?) interview the residents of camp hillbird and the beyond with a voice recorder. there are open books, others are not as their secrets run deeper into the truth.
LEARN THE OLD WAYS. study protection and warding practices under crane, and collect items, incantations from “eccentric” individuals. you will have an inventory log of what you keep.
INVESTIGATE HOTSPOTS. search every corner thoroughly for hidden clues, strange markings and objects. the more you find, the better.
TEAM UP OR GET CLOSE. partner with others to unlock new paths. along the way, relationships can grow from platonic to something more if you can manage them.

Questions of identity are tricky little things. Is a reflection the same as the thing it mirrors? Is it something lesser, or something entirely its own? You've had centuries to think about it and still haven't found an answer.
Granted, a lot of that time was probably spent sleeping.
What you do know is this (From a single memory and the unreliable recounts of a journalist): long ago, you awoke in a stone sarcophagus overlooking the sea. You probably wandered the land for years beyond counting, collecting stories, sights, and memories that never seemed inclined to stay put. Then, one day, you returned to where it all began and fell into a deep sleep.
And now, moon, you've awakened once more.
Play as...some form of physical manifestation of the moon. You're not too sure yourself.
Customise your moon. From their appearance, to their pronouns, to their personality.
Freeload off a poor paramedic or actually get a job.
Decide whether you feel closer to being human or something other.
Befriend or romance a cast of 6 characters, from a charming journalist to a person you've only seen in your memories.
Work with your new buddies to find out exactly what you are, and if your sudden appearance is linked to the strange phenomena happening in the seaside town of Merrow.
The Journalist: Nanya Walsh - She/Her [RO]
One of two journalists in town. And naturally, she knows everyone, for better or worse. Which made it all the more interesting when someone she didn’t stumbled into her dressed in soaked Ancient Greek cosplay. She thinks you make a wonderful Poseidon.
The Boyish Brother of Two: Charles "Charlie" Albright - He/Him [RO]
Everything about Charlie is colourful, from that flannel jacket he insists on wearing everywhere to that head of... red? Orange? Hair that very nearly blinds you whenever you stare at it for too long. And luckily for a waterlogged creature like you, he's more than happy to accommodate you in his wonderful household.
The Mayor's Daughter: Lucia Beauregard - She/Her [RO]
You get the feeling she hates as much attention as she receives, judging by that horrifying look in her eyes. But from the way she's constantly looking for it, you're not too sure. She's allegedly picture-perfect. You’ll be the judge of that. You’ll be seeing a lot of her after all.
The Town Pariah: Quest Rivers - He/Him [RO]
Just Quest, or Rivers. He hates the full thing. There's a rumour around town about his parents playing D&D when they were coming up with baby names. Luckily, you have more than enough time to get close and find out all his little secrets... somehow. He kind of scares you.
You Don't Actually Know: Warden Hearst - He/Him [RO?]
A psychologist? Doctor? Archaeologist? He's told you he's many things, helpful being one of them, and whether begrudgingly or not, you have to admit it holds true. He's taken a strange interest in you, as have many people around town. Yet his form of interest seems a bit... off.
A Fragment of Your Memories: Redacted [Partial RO]
You've seen them once and never again. In that one memory you have swirling around that jumbled-up head of yours. From what you remember, you were quite close. You don't know if they're still around, or if they ever existed in the first place, but you can find out.

The Mark of the Devil is a colonial-era horror/adventure IF game developed on Choicescript. The game is narrative-based and recommended for mature audiences.
Synopsis: The year is 1722. A pestilence known as the Rot plagues the New World, and the Witch Trials have been raging for 3 decades. You are an indentured servant of the Church, seeking an unattainable penance for a sin that cannot be undone; a pact with the Devil, sealed with blood on the eve of your 13th birthday.
In an attempt to save a child's soul, the Church calls upon you to help save a possessed boy, which thrusts you into a perilous adventure that can determine the fate of the New World.
You will have the chance to perform an exorcism, travel west across a Rot-infested colonial America, choose who joins your group, and fight to keep them alive. You will have to face human foes along with devils, demons, and creatures of American Folklore.
The demo features 73,000 words, with the second chapter still being written. Play as either male or female at the start, with additional gender options available later. You can customize your character's appearance, personality, and sexuality. The game offers two romance options, both of which are gender-selectable.
ROs:
Jude (Sister Judith/Brother Judah) is a (nun/monk) present in the Town of Saint Peter's. Like you, Father Elijah mentors them. Unlike you, they are a prominent member of the clergy, trusted by all three sects. Jude walks a righteous path, but beneath their grace, they simmer with suppressed troubles.
Ash (Ashira/Ashael) is marked similarly to you. They are a dangerous outlaw following the orders of a hellish benefactor. They don't judge you for your sins, but can you trust someone who walks the path of the damned?
Additional characters:
The Possessed Boy: After becoming possessed by a demon, the battle for this child's soul sets off a chain of events that spiral through a perilous journey west, through Rot-infested lands.
Father Lazarus: Is an exorcist from the old world, on a righteous mission to defeat the demon possessing the child. He also claims to be the only one who can save your soul.
Father Elijah: An old monk who leads the first religious sect in Saint Peter's. He ultimately spared your life the night you were damned. He is the reason you are alive and live piously, but to do so, he made you an indentured servant.
Reverend Ward: Is the zealous leader of the largest of the three sects and hates you. The only thing keeping him from executing you is Father Elijah's wishes, but as his health grows fragile, you can only guess how long that will last.
