there's a smile that grows on lips, even without knowing the context or specifics of the situation. for his part, tazengar looks about ready to burst out with laughter, and the prince arches brow in curiosity, head dipping as voice lowers with the appropriate amount of caution. ❝ what did you do this time, hmm ? ❞ cameron won't dare to let himself feel bad about doing such a thing to brother: kurt needs to learn to loosen up, and stop taking himself and his beloved reputation so seriously. ❝ whatever it is, i approve. ❞

it feels natural, being with nate like this. the werewolf's touch is gentle against lover's skin, as they lay together side by side in bed. lips move slow and sure against other's, the gentle routine of push and pull, the give and take, and teddy shifts against the bed, rolling onto side so he can get a better angle. there's no rush, or hurried movements: all he can focus on is the feeling of them against one another, feeling safe and wanted with lover. he appreciates these moments spent together, just the two of them, more than anything. he pulls away briefly for air, thumb stroking along nate's cheekbone as the sun flickers into their room through the pulled curtains. ❝ you're amazing, ❞ teddy says softly against nate's skin, pressing slow, open-mouthed kisses along the curve of other's jaw. ❝ y'mean everything to me. everything. ❞

the knight's admission has the prince's expression turn adoring. cameron smiles like the sun that sets, blinding and all-encompassing, and leans in close to kiss tazengar, seeking that warm feeling that other so effortlessly gives. it comes with every word, every look, every touch of the knight's, and cameron thinks he might seriously be addicted to it. he's been in the cold for so long, alone . . . to have someone, let alone have that someone be the one to warm him from the inside ― the frozen prince is thawing, and he doesn't take it for granted. ❝ and mine belongs to you, always and forever, ❞ he replies with a soft smile, nuzzling nose against other's before he kisses tazengar again, this time reaching up to hold his head between hands, gentle and cool against other's skin. to have this privilege is not one he takes lightly. ❝ that is never going to change, beloved. ❞

angel tilts head at the request from lover, and it feels the tinkling warning of emotion in periphery, something that draws him in. ❝ not planning on it, ❞ it answers with a slow smile, and he leans in to press a lingering kiss to shiloh's lips in an attempt to reassure, to ground other in the present moment. angel knows all too well how shiloh has tendency to worry about past, present, and future ― they worry excessively, and angel often feels that it needs to pull them back from that. ❝ i'm right here, shi. not goin' 'nywhere. staying here with you, 'til y'want me to go. and if you never want me to go, then it's forever. ❞ he's in it for the long-haul, is what it's trying to say. angel leans in for another, slower kiss, trying to show emotion through act. ❝ i promise. ❞

bucky isn't afraid of the other, he's afraid for them. he knows little to nothing about them except for the fact that they've got some sort of powers that make them partially transform. anyone else would be, at least, intimidated by such a sight. but bucky knows what it's like to be made into a monster, and knows that what the other needs more than anything is empathy. wherever they're from, they're clearly alone, and that in itself is worrying, given how young they look. ❝ you're just a kid, ❞ the sergeant says quietly, calmly, staying stock still so as not to be a threat. ❝ i'm not going to hurt you. i want to help you, however i can. my name is bucky, can y'tell me yours ? ❞
