So I've been thinking about how the Lieutenant's pilot suit would work, and I wanted to have a definitive design for the helmet instead of coming up with one on the fly (haha) every time I need to draw it. Also, drawing the Lieutenant in motion is always fun.

The suit is pretty similar to jet fighter pilot's suits, but is sealed and can be pressurized like a spacesuit (it isn't its main function, it's not built for long space walks but made to keep the pilot alive in case of malfunction/ejection until help arrives (fighter / racer spaceships are not made for deep space travel and are usually never far from a planet, station or admiral ship)). The suit can also protect the pilot in case of re-entry into the atmosphere and obviously has a parachute built in.

Lem is the other protagonist for Trespasser. I have a better idea of where I'm going with her design than with Dryad's but I'm still having fun exploring different options. I think my favorite is the 5th! What's yours?
