Hey, sorry, can I ask a question? People keep misreading what I’m writing. I know that people don’t need to have dysphoria to be trans. But I would like to know if a person can have dysphoria and NOT be trans. Sorry, I’m just really confused and no one has an answer for me. It’s totally okay if you don’t, too, btw, I’m just stressed. Thank you so much 💕

You're perfectly valid for asking this question. And I hate to say I may not have the best answer for you. Dysphoria comes from not being born the gender you are, and if you're not trans I'm not sure if that is what you are feeling. Now of course, you don't have to have dysphoria to be trans but I don't think you can be dysphoric and not under that umbrella, if that makes sense?

Like, my friend is non-binary and they have issues with their appearance and how they present to others because they don't feel how they look corresponds with their gender.

I am non-binary, but I don't experience dysphoria in the same way. I think my issues come more from not liking my body, or the way it's sexualized. But I feel like that's comes from a different place.

Of course I'm not an expert, and if you want to elaborate further feel free! And if anyone has anything else to add for Anon here please help them!
