I ALWAYS tell students ‘don’t throw out your old nibs! There are many other uses for them.’ Here I am using an old nib like a Ruling Pen. Love the splatter. Also a slightly more contemporary flourish technique. Dripping goo!

Hey guys! Today I have this awesome and fun manicure to show you! :D I started off with a white base color and then I painted spots with colorful Sharpies (permanent markers). Then I dipped a sponge in rubbing alcohol and pressed it to the spots to make them float out and blend. Then I used black acrylic paint and free-handed the drops and goo! :D
