Welcome to the Spamina Weekend!

A three day event to celebrate the ship of Spanner and Minato from Kamen Rider Gotchard. Are you ready for the Summer of Spamina? The event takes place on the weekend of July 24th, 25th, and 26th.

You must be over the age of 18 to take part in this event.

Each day will have three SFW prompts and one that is NSFW to chose from. Incorporate one into your work for the corresponding day. (Or multiple, if preferred! Feel free to combine prompts.) More information and event guidelines can be found on the blog, as well as the event's carrd.

TokuShipping Week - Special Day

@tokushippingweek - For gushing about my ship, since I did so many Spamina works for this event I'll gush about them!

There's a lot I love about Spamina... I could go on, but I think the biggest draw of them to me is the mutual respect the two have for each other. Regardless of being in differing alchemic ranks.

Minato is one of the only people outside of Kyoka that Spanner is genuinely nice to. And I'm not talking Spanner acting nice (and being so bad at it) like he was with Rinne because she's Fuga's daughter. Spanner actually treats Minato well and with respect from the start of the show, and Minato also holds that same respect for him in return.

I also enjoy how they handle things at a higher level together. Its fun for me to think about how they deal with the day-to-day of the Alchemys Union, and going about it. Especially in regards to growing tensions they both have with the higher brass as the series goes on.

Minato even wanted to change the Union with Spanner! Being the first person he brought up wanting to change things to.

I just really enjoy the dynamic between them overall. The trust they have in each other (That Spanner even shows in cour 2 once he's picked up Minato's act by missing his vitals on purpose!) really shines through at times, and I love the mutual respect they have for each other. It's just something I eat up.
