as a every day spanish user one of my worst habits is reading a fic that has eddie speak spanish and going "he would NOT say that". you can make out so clearly when an author is actually spanish speaking bc it will just. work. but so often when the author doesnt speak spanish its just. so stilted. you dont have to make him use spanish please you can just stick to show eddie who uses 3 spanish words a season
