Considering different types of interfacing I often think of spark merging as the most logical one

And my favourite part about it is the fact that interfacing poses would pretty much look like hugging

Mechs can still go hard and press their partner against the wall or to themselves, move back and forth to break and create connection between sparks again and again, stimulate each other with some sort of massages and touches... also like to think that kissing or holding hands helps to create strong electric chains that are probably pleasant as hell and just

since most fics imply that there's an extra chamber that needs to open to access someone's spark during interfacing, i don't think whoever is bottoming (valve or otherwise) during for cybertronions should be indicative of who gets sparked and is a carrier, it's kinda boring, i think there should just be a kind of subconcious way its chosen after partners discuss who wants to be the the carrier and who wants to be the sire, no matter what position is happening, with both being able to carry if they want as long as their sparks determine the environment as safe enough to do so, then their sparks prepare themselves preemptively

They have a mindspace sword fight and whoever wins gets preggers.
