Hi everyone! Just wanted to let you all know that, unfortunately, the comic is gonna be on hiatus for now. I was hoping to avoid this, but due to an arm injury it is extremely difficult for me to work on any drawings right now, which is slowing down my work by an insane amount as of late. I’d hoped to at least finish moon 6 before taking a break, but I can barely get 10 minutes of work done in a day, and it would probably be faster if I just let my arm rest and recover for now to avoid how long these take becoming ridiculous later on. I’m hoping to be back to posting sometime in May, just to ensure my arm has enough time to heal properly.

Thanks for all your support and interest in the comic so far, by the way! It means a lot to me that you all love these kitties as much as I do. I can’t wait to get back to drawing them as soon as possible.

In the meantime, have some random, vague details about the cats;

TansyStep is ZinniaStar’s former apprentice.

Of all the founders, only ReedTuft and EmeraldFeather were not born within a clan, the rest were each born in one of 3 different clans.

SparkColony is fairly isolated from any other groups, other clans being a fair distance away, and past the twoleg place that borders colony territory.

Spark Colony 1 Year Anniversary-Poll

Hey everyone! So, we’re coming up on the 1 year anniversary of SparkColony as a blog, and I’d like to do something fun for it. So, I’d like your help deciding something for it.

Below is a poll of the founding cats of the colony (minus HushPaw and FrostPaw), and your choice is simple; which cat do you want to learn more about? Whichever cat wins the poll, I will write a story around a key part of their past, from before they formed the colony.
