At some point "omg u can pet da monster" and skeleton puns fail to actually make up for the boring gameplay. I'm not doing myself an injustice, tumblr won't shut up about it and my dash is spammed with spoilers non stop and I haven't seen a single thing worth trudging through the game for. It's just one of those cases where an indy game does something a little different and cool and everyone hails it as the second coming of christ when it's really just a decent game that not everyone will like.

what you described is not the extent of the game in the slightest, though, and until you play through it/watch a play through, then you’re pretty much missing the entire point (especially if what you described is what you think the extent of it is). it’s your decision whether you want to trudge on it further, though and retain this opinion but you can’t say “It’s just ‘one of those things’/I don’t understand why everyone hails it” when you haven’t even properly played it at all to be able to give an inference like that. You can happily not like it and I’m okay with that but sending me asks like this is like ?.

What about a toriel prequel blog? Where it's her as a teenager or something learning magic and having adventures. I gave up on actually finishing the game because it's boring so I don't know if they fully spell out toriels backstory etc, but you could go a lot of directions with her I think, most ask blogs do. Alternatively, it could be a blog were toriel is like, in an armchair by the fire, reminiscing about her past. That way you could do both timelines depending on what you think of.

I already have an idea of what I want to do with it, but I appreciate the suggestion. You’re doing yourself a pretty great injustice by not finishing the game, though.
