It was one of those rare moments we they weren't being shot at, Speirs was staying focused on his mission to collected shiny things, and other things. He effortlessly scooted pass a what looked like a half alive Malarkey. "Penny for your thoughts, Don?" Speirs chuckles swiping something off the desk in a happy go lucky mood for once. "Its nothing" Malarkey looks away and was messing with his gloves. Speirs his helmet in-between his arm and hip made his way over to Malarkey. "It has to be something...Your not looking at me..." Speirs reached to touch the other's face but was quickly swatted away. "You really want to know?" Malarkey was pushing himself "I think I have the right to know" Speirs knew that was utter bullshit but he wanted to know what was bother his ginger so bad. "Im in love with you, sorry" Malarkey in the time it took him to say sorry he was already gone from Speirs sight, afraid he'd get knocked senseless he bolted.

Speirs dropped his helmet full of goodies making everything spill out. To him, he thought it was one sided, he thought Malarkey couldn't give two shits less about him. He was now even more worried for his ginger. That feeling...of regret started to fill his head, wondering why he didn't speak up at all.

Malarkey ran to Skip, he needed his support Skip. "Skip....I told him" Malarkey said sadly as he moped his way to a chair next to his best friend. Skip let a sigh out "that bad?" He asks rubbing his friend's back gently "I ran before he could get a word out...I'm so dumb..." Malarkey cries resting his head on his arms. "Donald Malarkey, you are not dumb, embarrassing yes, low self esteem yes, possibly smelling like a dirty gym sock...yes, dumb you are not" Skip smiles hearing a faint giggle come from his friend knowing that he felt a little better. "If he doesn't love you, I'll just have to beat him up" Skip nudge Malarkey gently "I don't think ge likes me" Malarkey says catching a glimpse of his raven haired man. Malarkey quickly sat up nervous that Speirs was looking for him to beat him up.

Speirs soon found where his ginger went. "Skip..can you leave us he looks serious" Malarkey ushers his friend out as the raven haired man took Skip's seat. "First things first, I'm not going to beat you up...." Speirs looks over with soft eyes feeling warm....feeling safe. "Secondary, why did you run so fast" Speirs gently but his hand on his ginger's back. "Fear..." Malarkey grumbles "lots of fear" he looked down at the floor not to make eye contact with the raven haired man. "But you still told me that took bravery" Speirs fixes his hair and then runs his fingers through Malarkey's ginger locks. "And I gotta tell you...bravery doesn't come easily" Speirs hums softly. "Yeah...It's hard to be brave..." Malarkey slowly looks up at Speirs. Malarkey reached his hand up and fixed a few pieces of Speirs hair. Malarkey leans up slowly not to topple over "But do you love me?" He asks getting close to the other's face "I'm in love with you, sorry" Speirs closed what was left of the gap between them with a kiss.
