If it helps I've decided Asteria will marry Emily cause I just see Asteria opening up to her about how much not having magic anymore hurts and is hard, but Emily goes "What are you talking about? There's so much magic everywhere, especially in you" and the fact Emily's 10 heart event is spent in the secret woods is also just. Good stuff

Sparkle is good. And well, someone had to step in and marry who Asteria ran from. Whimsie, as the protective big sister, takes the burden once she is gone. It is not relieved by being forced with someone compassionate or who she could grow to love. It is someone who caught her using magic to try and escape many times over the years. And after almost 2 years, they had enough. And it didn't end well for Whimsie, though Whimsie finding that Asteria has found joy and maybe love puts her soul at ease
