I love love the idea that he is very good at what he does (v proud of his skills and will boast about it) but damn dude how are you so clumsy? Like he falls down stairs all the fucking time and runs into trees and chairs and even people when he's holding conversations. Drops his blades on his feet or accidentally nicks himself when putting them away. Luckily no one has actually gotten hurt yet, although he has taken some impressive spills I'm barely halfway in the Prologue with him, but so far he's incredibly confused why everyone is so angry at him (just for being in the wrong place at the wrong time sheesh) and has been fighting back with lots of snark. Eventually he'll be more willing to help but right now he's hella defensive yet massivly concerned about the GIANT HOLE IN THE SKY HOLY SHIT THAT IS MORE IMPORTANT RN YOU DUMB HUMANS. I haven't decided yet if I want to him to be hella tall and find it incredibly amusing (until he smacks his head on door frames) or to be on the shorter size and make dumb short/tall people jokes. Either way, I'm really digging the nb/genderqueer idea (need to do more research before I can confirm) and he manages to bribe Josephine and Vivienne into getting him some dresses. If anyone makes fun of him for it, he goes "i will literally fight you right now." while Dorian is off to the side going "i hope you dont expect me to kiss all of the wounds you're going to get" but still cheers on his dumb bf until Cullen breaks it up in that loud flustered sort of way that makes Arden instantly obey. This got so much longer than I intended but gosh I do love this dork lots. I'm really excited to see how he grows and reacts to all the situations, just like it was with Kiah.
