Custom LEGO - Major John Shephard + his "sparklebox"

Hey look, I made another one of these!

This custom figure is made using custom-designed (by yours truly, with help from my brother) and printed stickers, and a few third-party pieces (vest and gun).

I made this a long time ago but I kept consistently forgetting to post it for ages and ages, so here it is: John Shephard in minifig form, as well as his sparklebox...

I have way too much fun building these sparkleboxes (I think LEGO calls them play cubes or something?). I love them because they're a great way to break down a character and characterize them in two small spaces. I like to go for duality, since a lot of my characters (mostly Tom and John, though) are very heavily based around duality - and the blurred lines in-between.

Every piece in both sides of the box are there for a reason.
