Perspectives. Surf sessions seem to have been too few + way too far between for me this summer. It’s felt extra challenging simply to get there with the pandemic skewing every little happy routine that I have cleverly crafted over the last few years. I’m not complaining (or maybe I am a little!) but I know surfers know what I’m talking about. I have a bit of ambivalence about leaving this fall but also know I will be happy to get back into my everyday surfing routine and way of life in Puerto Rico. Even if there is no Artwalk (which I hope is temporary but still temporarily breaks my heart a little 💔), it will be good to be salty on a regular basis again. Anyways... I always love to grab a shot or two before and/or after surfing. I lazily snapped a few quickies this morning before paddling out and just noticed it was focused on the foreground which is “The Wall” at Hampton beach and I think I have not surfed here in a couple of years. It’s as fickle as ever but treated us well for a little magical morning window. I love how the wall looks like sparkly sand with the blurred sparklebuttery surf + sun rays in the background. Until next time, ocean... con mucho amor! ✨✨✨ xoxo! ~ j . . . #onlyasurferknowsthefeeling #thewall #sparklebutter #perspectives #salty #beachbreak #surfne (at The Wall, North Beach, Hampton N.H.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CEuttmdBrmV/?igshid=1ujh1u98ubneg
