Ah Sparkleponies. The AU where I take the Heralds of Valdemar and just kinda… drop the concept into the Continent. So you’ve got witchers who do the hunting of monsters and you’ve got the Heralds who do the helping of men and they often end up working together and also there are magic psychic beings who’ve chosen to appear as…. very pretty white horses with very blue eyes.
Anyway Geralt’s still Geralt and he still meets Jaskier in Posada, but Jaskier’s a Herald and his Companion is Essi, and honestly I no longer remember the actual vague STORY I was prodding at but that’s okay, it was mostly just an excuse to have pretty magical horsies and Geralt pining a little bit bc SO FAST AND NIBLE AND CAN TALK TO THEIR HERALD IN THEIR MIND AND—
