If you’ve ever wondered how a liquid (resin) 3D printer works here’s an example (x20 speed). The printer ‘steps’ up and down with each layer it exposes a shape to UV light to harden the liquid. Each time it steps down it adds a new layer at 0.025mm thickness. Prototype print came out great. The fit is perfect and the clearances are just right. I realize now that there’s too much detail in the model for this size so I’m going to simplify it and exaggerate it a bit to better suit Lego design.
