Chestnut-backed Sparrow-lark (Eremopterix leucotis)

...a strikingly marked species of Sparrow-lark (Eremopterix spp.) which is a resident breeder in parts of Africa south of the Sahara Desert. Chestnut-backed Sparrow-lark is often encountered in a variety of open, dry habitats where it will forage for a range of insects, seeds, and other invertebrates.

Ah, okay. I’ll do this.

1) I can’t think straight right now because I’m listening to ‘Party In The USA’ but I don’t want to turn it off, either.

2) My room is completely ocean themed from when I was little, but I still love it.

3) I’ve been trying to stay away from blogs that blog Korra, and avoiding my dash entirely, but I’ve still been spoiled for the finale. :(

4) We have no sound on the computer since we got it 'fixed’ and our operating system is now Windows Business 2003 or some crap like that.

5) I want/at this point need a laptop, but am too overwhelmed by techie jargon to shop around for one.

6) People should never tag me on these, because even though I think they’re fun, I normally make them tl;dr.

7) My friends tell me whenever I start acting too much like meekakitty. Which is often.

8) About 20 different people at MSA told me I look like CeCe from 'Shake It Up’ which I had never seen and nobody else had ever mentioned.

9) I have to cancel things out. (Poking things in certain spots, after having poked them in a spot)

10) I refused to drink Starbucks for about a year and a half after I started drinking coffee for fear I’d get hooked and get broke. Last week I caved, and did indeed get hooked, but now I’m home and the nearest Starbucks is 45 minutes away.

11) I’m a big fan of impressionist painters, especially Monet.

12) My hair used to be superblonde, but now it’s more like copper.

13) I wanted to be Nancy Drew when I was little.

14) Between 'Nancy Drew’ and 'Leverage’, I’m still pretty sure I could be a cat burglar. Shut up. I could.

15) My new mantra is “It’s only awkward if you make it awkward” from theamyhoffman’s rules to live by.

16) I wanted to learn code, so at the beginning of last summer I spent about an hour looking at confusing tutorials and promptly gave up.

17) I make up lyrics over the songs on the radio all the time and it doesn’t sound half bad.

18) Sometimes random names of characters will get stuck in my head. Past examples include Zuko, Mulan, Suki, Azula, and Eliot.

19) I’m learning ASL.

20) When I was marathon watching all the episodes of 'Friends’ for the first time ever last winter, I went through a couple seasons and a jar of nutella a week.

21) My dad is a totally boss musician, and I genuinely think he could’ve been famous if he had stuck around on the (mostly bluegrass) scene.

22) I really like wandering around alone at dusk and dawn and also in the woods whenever, but I’m also terrified of doing so.

23) We have no fireworks to set off tonight for the 4th. I’m a bit sad about this.

24) My town is probably about 97% white, which kind of sucks.

25) I’m ¼ German (Lutherans Germany yeahhh!) and the rest is I don’t even know.
