One of the only things I appreciate about Thomas Astruc is that he did say Alix is “rather aro” in one of his tweets? I wish/hope the show will acknowledge it though. I try and keep her on the aro spectrum kinda when writing her? Out of my dying respect for canon? I think Demiromantic is part of the aro spectrum?
This is also why I'm hesitant to ship Alix with anyone, I'm still learning about both Aro and Ace culture and understanding. (Repressed childhood huzzah) but at the same time I know Aro and Ace people can still be in relationships if they choose, they're just more one sided for the partner.
I think Demi is also in the Aro/Ace areas but I'm not fully educated there just yet (not saying it's not, just that I don't know) but on another note there is nothing physically stopping us from doing the things non-Aro/Ace people do. We just lack the means to connect in that way, so most choose not to for their own reasons.
I agree that I also wished they acknowledged it more, also on Max supposedly being Ace too.
