Back to the lantau 50 10 days before my 100k through the desert. This was a tough race. Having to climb a total of over 3300m in elevation in heat. Was not easy at all. Having come off the back of a roll of ultras this race destroyed me. Aftwr that I decided to have 10 days off just massage stretching and recovery in time for my 100km in the Dubai desert. Did I take on too much. 5 events in 4 months.. yeah I did! It was a challenge and I loved every excruicitiang part of the pain. It made me dif deep within myself to find out exactly what makes me tick and what I am truly capable of achieving. Now I have 2 months to recovery no running events.
