So the power goes out at work (and is still out now) and everyone's first reactions is to reach for their smart phones. Myself being no exception. Instantly flashlight apps are opened, power outage times are googled, and texts are sent to confirm that power is out all over town. The power of the smart phone is remarkable. The convenience offers a sense of security and knowledge that was unavailable merely a few years ago. We have become so reliant on this form of technology that it makes you wonder, what did we do before the smart phone? Instead of sitting in the dark I'm simultaneously blogging, texting and checking Facebook. The wonders of technology.
