Spavined, There is a time and place for everyone. A place of refuge. A place in which we can be ourselves. Refuge in our memories. As if you were adrift in the middle of endless sea. Trying to push away all the spavined, torturous memories of the past. As if the decay of those memories would be such an easy task. Does the sky ever feel pain with the roar of lightning? Or is it perhaps the brightness of the thunder? For the beauty of it is in an instant and if you blink you will miss it. Does lightning ever touch the surface of the ocean? A spark of electricity is what we need to survive! A chiseled moon to guide us at bay, For there is no compass to live life.
