I'm on a roll with this speaking challenge! This is day 13's recording. I only recorded it today, even though I wrote it yesterday. I still can't really talk about the topics without scripting them first, but I'm noticing that it just gets easier and easier to write my scripts. It also gets easier to read them out loud once they're written! Anyway, this is my story about the first time I went to a hospital in Korea. Transcripts in traditional and simplified Mandarin follow!

我從來不喜歡去醫院。因為我也不喜歡吃藥，也有點怕針，所以不常去醫院。但是有時候沒辦法需要去醫院。我來韓國要去眼科醫院。那時候我的韓語還有點差所以我的同事陪我去。醫院真不錯了，醫院裡很乾淨，醫生很友好了。可是我最喜歡的就是真便宜的醫療費。雖然我做了些特別的測試我只付了二萬韓幣。我真開心了! 醫療費比美國真便宜! 我的同事也吃驚了，因為依她看太貴了!

我从来不喜欢去医院。因为我也不喜欢吃药，也有点怕针，所以保额常去医院。但是有时候没办法需要去医院。我来韩国要去眼科医院。那时候我的韩语还有点差所以我的同事陪我去。医院真不错了，医院里很干净，医生很友好了。可是又最喜欢的就是真便宜的医疗费。虽然我做了些特别的测试我支付了二万韩币。我真开心了！医疗费比美国真便宜！我的同事也吃惊了，因为依她看太贵了！

最近我來叫仁川的城市工作，但是來這裡以前我住五年首爾。仁川和首爾真不一樣可是我都喜歡。仁川離海邊不遠，所以我有空的時候去海邊看波浪。首爾比這裡熱鬧，但是有更多好吃的飯館和好玩的東西。還有我朋友大部分住在首爾。我也許住一下這裡就會知道仁川有什麼長處。

最近我来叫仁川的城市工作，但是来这里以前我住五年首尔。仁川和首尔真不一样可是我都喜欢。仁川离海边不远，所以我有空的时候去海边看波浪。首尔比这里热闹，但是有更多好吃的饭馆和好玩的东西。还有我朋友大部分主在首尔。我也许注意下这里就会知道仁川有什么长处。

今天我來說一點我決定學中文的原因。其實我開始學中文以前學了韓語用的漢字。因為韓語有很多本著漢字的詞匯所以我覺得學漢字很重要。學了大概五百字以後我覺得不妨學中文! 但是這不是我唯一的原因。我從小對外語有很多興趣，所以很想學跟中文一樣有意思的語言。而且我想去台灣旅行。我去過一次那裡，可是那時候我只會說 "你好"、"謝謝" 這類的。如過我再去台灣要努力跟台灣人說話!

Here's my recording for day 4 of the speaking challenge that I'm participating in recently (even though today is day five... oops!). I skipped day 3 because the topic, which was talking about weekend plans, wasn't very interesting, and because I was busy painting something nice for my Nana's birthday. Hello, everyone! Tonight, I celebrate the revival of my site with my first recording for the 30-Day Speaking Challenge. For the next thirty days (or at least 15 out of those 30; I think realistically I will not be able to do all of the days), I will try to tackle a variety of topics in Mandarin. My reading and writing is alright, but my speaking... yikes!
