Recording myself speaking was actually really helpful. When I listen back I can hear certain sounds I need to work on more clearly. So here's 2 and a half minutes from today.
I felt like I hit a flow and it got easier after a few minutes.
This is from the book "Middelalderens kjøkken" by Marianne Vedeler.

Above is a recording of my first few sections of orals, it's linked to my podcast Google account so thankfully I won't be doxxing myself skdhsksjls, anyway yeah if you click on it you can listen :) I'm not great at pronunciation though so apologies in advance. If you're new here I have a fairly severe speech impediment, and I will take advice and corrections on pronunciation and grammar but not on how to stammer less.

Mistakes I made and I'm aware I made: should be la deuxième section and les études futurs.
Hi. My name is Diana and I want to learn English. I am looking for a friend with whom I can practice speaking English via video call. If you want to learn Russian, I can help. I can communicate on various topics: anime, movies, series, cartoons, science (specifically biology and geography) and just about anything. Also, I don't judge tastes in fanfiction.
Awesome hey! Table Mountain. This is where I live, right behind this beautiful piece of rock. I sit and create new worksheets all day for my website, talkmor.com
mennä hukkaan - to go to waste
ruokalähetti - food delivery person
pullonkorkki - bottle cap
mutta nyt takaisin asiaan - back to business
Tupperware-kulho - Tupperware-bowl/box/container (I looked up their website but most things were called kulho. Is this widely used or are the “boxes” sometimes called sth else?)
tallentaa - to save (a file)
anyone want to create a group where we meet up at least once a week on zoom to practice speaking??? i think it’d be super cool. all ages welcome. if you’re self-conscious and don’t want to use your camera that’s fine. it’s just for the practice and the vibes. reply to this post or message me if you’re interested or request to join the group
