          --- ---           it   was   the   first   time   that   they   had   decided   to   share   the   hotel   room   while   they   were   on   tour.   since   they   had   started   D   A   T   I   N   G   joe   and   rebecca  had   slept   in   the   same   bed   more   than   once,   however,   sharing   their   housing   was   something   new.   that   in   mind,   joe   couldn’t   help   but   feel   much   younger   than   he   actually   was.   his   stomach   was   filled   with   B   U   T   T   E   R   F   L   I   E   S   and   he   almost   couldn’t   stop   looking   at   her.  with   a   smile   on   his   face,   the   samoan   poked   his   head   out   of   the   bathroom   to   find   his   girlfriend   holding   a   t-shirt   of   his   that   he’d   usually   wear   to   the   gym.   ❝ all   of   them   ?? “   joe   chuckled,   ❝ so   what   am   i  going   to   wear   from   now on   ??   your   shirts   ??   i   don’t   think   crop   looks   as   good   on   me   as   it   does   on   you. “

        –– ––               he   cleared   his   throat   and   tried   to   focus   his   eyes   on   seth.   it   was   anything   but   easy   to   speak   the   words   but   it   had   been   time   to   finally   let   him   know.         ，        ❝ no,   seth.   i’m   not   sorry.   i   had   to   know   how   he’s   doing. ❞         ，        it   had   been   a   clear   agreement   between   the   two   of   them.   no   more   contact   to   jon   moxley   now   that   he   was   no   longer   their   colleague   and   maybe   not   even   their   friend.   but   roman,   he   felt   differently   than   to   what   seth   expected   of   him.   he   still   thought   about   the   good   times   the   three   of   them   had   shared   and   he   wasn’t   ready   to   make   a   choice   between   two   men   who   were   so   close   to   him.   he   didn’t   feel   like   he   should   have   to   make   this   decision.   so,   the   samoan   had   called   the   third   man   to   ask   just   how   he   was   doing.   but   now   that   seth   knew,   he   didn’t   seem   to   understand.       ，        ❝ we’re   his   friends.   just   because   he   chose   a   different   path   than   us,   why   do   you   think   we   have   to   make   a   choice??   we   can  S  T  I  L  L be   friends   with   him.   for   fcks   sake,   it’s   jon!!   we’ve   all   known   each   other   for   years.   this   whole   thing   is   stupid.   you   should   call   him   too   because   i   think   he’d   be   happy   to   hear   from   his   friends   and   to   be   reassured   that   he   has   a   place   with   us   always. ❞

        –– ––              roman   rolled   his   eyes.   why   could   things   never   be   easy   with   the   younger   male?   why   could  he   never   just   be   a   little   more   direct,   a   little   more   forward,   a   little   more   honest?   though,   honest   possibly   wasn’t   the   right   word.   jay   wasn’t   lying.   but   he   also   wasn’t   giving   roman   any   answers.   with   two   slow   steps,   his   eyes   piercing   right   T  H  R  O  U  G  H  the   new   zealander   that   the   looks   must   burn   on   his   skin,   the   samoan   stepped   closer.   smoothly   and   quietly,   like   a   predator   circling   his   prey,   until   he   was   close   enough   to  wrap   his   large   hand   around   jay’s   jaw,   turning   his   head   to   force   their   eyes   to   meet.   ❝ what   did   you   say  ??   why   don’t   you   speak  up   so   i   can   hear   what   you   said   ?? ❞   as   always,   his   voice   was   slick,   secure,   sure   of   what   he   was   saying   and   what   he   was   doing.   this   time,   he   wouldn’t   give   jay   the   chance  to   back   out.   he   wouldn’t   let   him   get   away   with   it   again.   but   when   no   words   fell  from   the   oh   so   smart   mouth,   roman   couldn’t   help   but   chuckle   quietly.   ❝ just   as   i   thought. ❞   another   short   pause.   ❝ coward. ❞   the   grip   around   jay’s   chin   was   tight   but   not   too   tight   to   make   the   other   man   shut   up.

        — —          he   caught   her   wrists   and   couldn’t   stop   himself   from   chuckling.   ❝ come   on.   you   know   the   fancy   drinks   and   sitting   between   your   girls   isn’t   fun   for   me.   we   could   just   head   back   to   the   hotel   and   check   out   the   mini   bar,   and   get   in   some   s.exy   time.   we   have   to  catch   a   flight   tomorrow   again   and   it   probably   won’t   be   amazing   if   we’re   hungover. ❞   the   brunette   tried   pursuing   the   woman.   it   was  hard   to  tell   her   no.   joe   would   give   in   to   those   big   eyes   and   silky   fingers   almost   every   time.   but   going   out   really   sounded   exhausting   right   now.   the   show   had   been   heavy   and   on   him   and   the   thought   of   sitting   between   a   bunch   of   girls   just   for   the   sake   of   being   A  R  M  C  A  N  D  Y  used   up   his   last   usable   brain   cells   for   the   day.   on   any   other   day   he   would   have   done   it   for   her.   maybe,   if   there   wouldn’t   have   been   that   damn   kick   against   his   head   which   made   it   feel   heavy   still,   then   he   wouldn’t   try   to   get   out   of   the   situation.
