#;-; #my nana and dad still speak it #but it's pretty much dying.. #kinda sad really #language
Spearmintbow, Welsh has to be one of the strongest Celtic languages out there. We still have 500,000 native speakers, it isn't going to die. (at least not anytime soon) Granted there has been a small dip in the number of native speakers recently but I don't think the situation is hopeless.

woah, i wouldn’t have even known what those jobs were when i was young. those are pretty adventurous pursuits.
I used to read whatever I could get my hands on and sometimes all I could find were Young Scientist encyclopedias xD Some volumes were like reading staples -I would go back and read them over and over again, look at the pictures, etc. I think that's how I became fascinated with geology and volcanos and the weather.

Okay so you know how when kids are little they want to be like a firefighter or an astronaut or a ballerina?
Well when I was little my dream jobs were volcanology or storm chasing xD

I’m not too sure but I feel like it sounds a little Swedish/Dutch. It’s nice though. :)
Thank you! Though that is a rather interesting observation as I don't speak either of those languages. ^^; (I have heard Dutch and I can kind of read it with some understanding due to my German but when I hear the language being spoken, I am completely lost)

You sound American compared to British, but sound British compared to American.(I don’t know much about the Canadians since I have never been to Canada) Yes you do speak a little French-like but compared to the native speakers it sounds British still
That sounds a bit twisted, I don't sound right to either side then. ^^; I'd say the Canadians have a more nasal accent? Or at least I would say that most of those accents would be softer compared to American accents. (only Hapo can really confirm this, I am only basing this on comparative analysis and the fact that I've been told that Canadian accents are rather soft) That is a bit odd though, my mother tongue is French and I was taught English later. (well, my father tried to teach me 5 languages at once when I was starting to talk because he wanted me to be polylingual. (Irish, French, English, Polish and German) I managed rather well until the 5th language was introduced to me, then I just crashed and started talking in a language that mixed all 5 together. So I was cut down to two languages)

You don’t sound German. (For the previous record I took a while to ensure the second one was German) Nor do you sound Italian. I don’t know how Irish and Scottish people actually speak so I don’t know if it has any relation to Irish or something D:
I can't sound Italian as I never spoke the language. XD Nah, neither the Scottish or the Irish would recognize me as one of theirs, their accents is far prettier than mine. Some of their accents has kind of a musical lilt to it, it is very nice to listen to though you sometimes won't understand what they're saying. They roll their "r"s differently and they stretch vowels differently than I would. Though my Scottish friend did once say (as I was trying to imitate her accent) that if I tried more often, I could sound like a true Scot. XD So it really depends on where you let the sound travel in your mouth (or nose) and how you choose to pronounce certain letters.

To me it sounds a sort of mix of American and German.
Alright, so you hear the American in my accent. The German is rather surprising, you'd be the third person to say that I sound German.
And there we have the result: Everyone has a different interpretation of my accent!
