This afternoon we said an emotional farewell to my beautiful old boy Nedgie – my best mate of 8 years. A very tough decision made after a decline in his health, he went to sleep with dignity, peacefully in my arms 💕 . Such a funny old boy right to the end, shoving his paddock mate out of the way for first dibbs at the bag of carrots. We took some Lucerne down so he could have a big breakky with his buddy and I got to spend some time talking to him and just hanging out in the sun while they ate. He even tolerated a cuddle (well, lots of cuddles), which was more for my sake than his! . I want to say a huge thank you to all those who helped us, encouraged us, and supported us in our journey along the way 💕 . Thanks so much for the memories Nedge, you were the absolute best boy ever.
