hey guys I got a dying luna moth from my roommate and she kicked it, a week later I opened up the container I had her in and it REEKS please help I have no experience preserving bug specimens what do I do.
Take a watch if you have a half hour to spare! This was a very illuminating video for me; interesting stuff!
Oh on a more positive note I struck a deal with my local petshop today. They're very happily going to offer me all of their dead animals to make into specimens. They were so lovely about it and rather interested. Only down side to me learning taxidermy through the museum is I have to supply my own specimens.
