I had a headcanon thought that I just wanted to put out into the ether:

Skadi Alter is playable despite it seeming like a weird moment of a main villain being on roster because her situation parallels Specter Alter.

From some comments she already made, and then especially once her Live2D skin happened, common fanon understanding is that Laurentina is in some way in love with her other half, Specter, inside herself. Therefore, as she also loves Skadi, and honestly doesn't even seem to particularly hate the Seaborn, I can totally see Laurentina romancing Ishar'Mla and Skadi at the same time.

Furthermore, we already have an example that someone valuing their individualism can in fact break away from the overall Seaborn hivemind in Deepcolor. I think that potentially Laurentina romancing Ishar'Mla in Skadi could cause a similar outcome of creating Ishar'Mla as a distinct personality, rather than an overwriting of Skadi, and the two learn to coexist as Specter and Laurentina do, which also justifies why the Doctor allows one of the literal gods of the Seaborn to stay on roster as an Operator.

I'm curious to know how other gay fish enjoyers feel about this concept!
