The man found himself relating to the feeling, his gaze peering down at Kanan who had fallen to the floor. That familiar pit of despair he was slowly slipping into. Kneeling down in front of him he placed a hand on his shoulder, he had never thought himself the first to come to for comfort. But now it seemed he had little choice but to at least try, if anything for Kanan’s sake. “Listen to me Kanan, your just one man. Since I first got here you’ve been doing nothing but putting every ounce of your strength into this cause. From experience failure will happen, but it doesn’t make it your fault.” He attempted. Corny as all hell, he barely understood what it was he was trying to do. He was barely able to convince himself all those years ago that Morgana and Dustil weren’t his fault. “It’s the empires fault.” He stated in a low and slightly angered tone.
