                 “Hey, kid. What’re you doing over there?” Talya called out, raising an eyebrow as she made her way over to the boy.

          Feeling something on her arm, Ahsoka looked to see Ezra having justlicked her. Frowning, a look of confusion tracing across her orange-skinned face, the togruta simply cocked her head to one side gently. “Erm.. Ezra.. what was that for..?”

         Ezra didn’t even have any words for it, in fact, he lifted his eyes from her arm, and he moved to lick it again for no real reason it seemed like. In fact, he wasn’t even about to answer as he seemed for the most part to ignore her, and he wouldn’t stop unless he was forcefully pulled away.

Ezra let out a deep breath as he knocked on Tari’s door, he wanted to be able to talk freely, but he doubted it would work. Eventually, he would have to make a choice on exactly who he was, and he wasn’t sure if he even needed to make it. Yet, he was still going to try.

“Mom, are you here?” he asked lightly.

            Ezra knew he shouldn’t have been sneaking around the base, it was something he always did though in all reality. Even when he was in the Ghost, he ended up sneaking around, but for now, he was at least trying to conceal his presence even if it didn’t work out in the long run. Yet, seeing Ahsoka was one of the few things that actually made him quit his stalking officers through the vents as he moved make his exit from the small space.

            “Hey, Ahsoka.” He managed to get out with a slight chuckle, “I just... saw you walking, and thought I would stop by.”

A deep breath escaped his lips, he had to make a choice --- he left the Empire to talk to Kanan, but he knew that Tari would be after him soon or later. There was nothing he could do about it, she would either be there alone, or with an army to get him back, but he needed to make a decision... a final one.

“Kanan? I know you’re the last person who you want to see right now, but... I came here to talk.”
