<<Cassper>>: I know I ask a lot of stupid questions here, but hear me out. So I was looking at possessed objects or at least the theory with them. How do they work?
<<Cassper>>: I know they can get stuck in things like toasters and creepy dolls, masks and all that stuff, but how does that work? Did any of them manage to break out or I don’t know, migrate? Like a part of them at least? Just in theory I mean.

<<Lori79>>: With that sort of thing but once they’re attached to whatever it is they’re locked down to it. They can’t get out which is why they get so hostile.
<<Cassper>>: What if one of them could?
<<Lori79>>: What do you mean?
<<Cassper>>: I’m not going to be great at explaining this, but I mean has one of them ever split itself up or made a break for it to somebody something else?
<<Lori79>>: Like a Horcux.
<<Cassper>>>: ???
<<Lori79>>: The thing from Harry Potter. I thought everybody read those. My kids loved them, but to answer your question it’s what the villain of the thing did. He put parts of his soul into some objects and the last into the kid from the title. It sounds like what you were talking about.
<<Cassper>>: Right. Guess so.

<<BowserWowser>> : Were you the same person that asked if there was a language barrier for some ghosts or ‘ye olde’ ghosts?
<<Cassper>> Might have, yeah.
<<BowserWowser>> I thought so.
<<BowserWowser>> I remember you. They’re still debating about that you know.
<<Cassper>>: Okay, so has anybody ever got hijacked from one? Got any side effects like with regular possession but not the weird eyes or missing time stuff, just some amateur WWF strength, anything like that?
<<Lori79>>: No. That doesn’t line up. Usually they’re limited to inflicting harm using whatever they’re stuck inside like a toaster setting a house on fire, but I’ve never heard of anything like what you’re talking about happening. It doesn’t mean it hasn’t ever but I’ve never heard of it. Why?
<<Cassper>>: No reason.
<<Cassper>>: So, in the book, how did they get rid of it or how would you nuke something like that from orbit in general?
<<Lori79>>: Well the first one is fictional for starters so it probably wouldn’t apply. This is very specific. You know it’s just in theory?
<<Cassper>>: Yeah, yeah I know. Just curious.
<<BowserWowser>>: If one of them melds themselves with a mirror or a lamp or something then your best bet is usually to call an exorcist which I assume you’d already know. I think they’d have to get rid of them and whatever object it is with it. With what you’re talking about it doesn’t line up with anything I know about so I’m not sure. I don’t try to mix much with exorcists. They’re harder to come by, but they know what they’re doing. They know the risks and what is involved more than I would. I wouldn’t get hold of one just to ask them stuff like this. They probably wouldn’t appreciate it. Not unless you were serious.
<<Cassper>>: Right. Nope, just one of those random 3am thoughts you get sometimes and I wanted to know.
<<Cassper>>:That was all.
<<Cassper>>: Thanks though. Appreciate it.
