Here is the last line of the last chapter I finished on my Cassandra x f!Lavellan fic. The first chapter is up on AO3 as a placeholder, and you can read it here, but it can’t really stand on its own--I plan to post the whole thing at once when I’m finished. Cassandra narrating:

Without hesitation, she offers me her sound hand and I take it gladly, holding her other palm out in front of us, illuminating the trails. She slips my hand into her warm pocket like a child with treasure, and I am content to leave it there. I am content to be treasured, to be found, by her.

Most regrettable purchase?Three of them - Mass Effect 3 because I got a scratched disc and missed the return date so I was out $15, Fable 3 because the first time I bought it (I own it again now) I took advantage of a BOGO sale on it and got a second copy totally free. I gave said copy to a guy I was interning at a theatre company with because he’d mentioned wanting it before and my then-boyfriend lost it and stole my game. Asshole. I bought it at GameStop it was like $20 for that shitty gameTo answer what the question is really trying to get at, however, The Witcher 2. I just had a tough time getting into it :/ I’ll go back someday38. I was tagged by the lovely @spectre-tabris​ thank you very much, how did you know I loved talking about my OC’s! Inquisitor questionnaire! Answer the 3 questions, ask 3 of your own, and tag some friends! (including the person that tagged you might be nice) You can reuse questions if you can’t think of anything new or ask more than 3 too. Now I have many many inquisitors but not many of them have actual backstories, but one stands out whom I will talk about and was actually my first inquisitor I ever made. Imnala Adaar. Imnala was formerly a Saarebas under the qun before she became inquisitor, she was cargo on an Qunari dreadnought when the ship hit rough waters and capsized. Being chained and tied down she had managed to scramble on some bits of drift wood from the destroyed dreadnought  and keep her heavy self afloat until she hit shore. A very tired and very water logged Imnala was later found by a couple that owned a small farm in Ferelden. They took her in, unstiched her mouth and allowed her to stay in their barn. She spoke little to none of the common language and had to teach herself through books the old farmers let her read, they fed her and let her stay in their barn and in return she protected the farm from any unwanted visitors. She later joins a mercenary band to help bring in coin for the elderly farmers that saved her, which lands her at the conclave. (Just some background on Imnala before going in hehe) 1. When your Inquisitor is in the fade, what does the Nightmare use to taunt them? This is a good question because Imnala is scared of a lot of things, like actually being the monster the Qun had drilled into her mind, she spent many late nights and early mornings trying to free herself of the idea that she is some horrible beast of burden rather then someone who deserves to be freed. But even above those fears the nightmare would probably taunt her on not being able to protect the little sister she knew she had. They only met twice and by met I mean they were able to shuffle together to bump knuckles in a small form of comfort. Imnala was never able to talk to this other female Qunari but she always stayed in her heart and she knew. The Nightmare would defiantly pick up on this and taunt  her on that. “How do you expect to defeat me when your own mind proves to be a far greater opponent, do your friends know how monstrous you truly are Saarebas? How you abandoned your only family? Ebasit kata itwa-ost.” 2. Is your Inquisitor religious? What events shaped their faith (or lack thereof)? Yes actually, Imnala converts to Andrastian, its something she can pour her time into studying aside from magics considering Tomes and scrolls on magic were hard to come by before she became inquisitor. She finds the Andrastian faith much more preferable then the Qun despite the negative view on mages, she often takes an hour out of her day to pray to the shrine in Skyhold. 3. Your Inquisitor has had an absolutely terrible day. How do they unwind? Imnala loves to paint, and she does so when shes stressed or over worked as inquisitor. She makes her own paints from the plants she picks up out on the field and puts much love into creating many different colors to express herself. Most of the time Imnala will paint a landscape or move out to the garden to capture the scene at the time. But on particularly bad days she will paint her sister, or what she can remember of her face without the stitches and restraints. This was so much fun! I love talking about my OC’s and I loved reading about @spectre-tabris​ ‘s so thank you so much for tagging me and letting me ramble about Imnala! 1. How did your inquisitor react at the winter palace? Did they hate it or did they get swept up in the grand game? 2.  Who does your Inquisitor usually bring with them out on the field? Do they get along well with each member of their party? 3. How did they react to being called the Harold of Andraste? Ok! I have so...many different Inquisitors, but the most developed of them all is the Inquisitor baby that @asarinpc, my bootiful gf and I came up with, Raset Adaar. Honestly I would love to talk about her on a daily basis because I love her to death amen. 1. When your Inquisitor is in the fade, what does the Nightmare use to taunt them? It uses Raset’s former occupation against her. She used to be an arishok in Par Vollen and she left after meeting her mother (her mother is another story entirely), but before then her faith and loyalty to the Qun was wavering. Raset is nice... almost too nice for her own good. I think I recall that arishoks aren’t what they are because of their leadership skills, but because they are able to make the hard decisions others might not be able to, like probably condemning people to death. Raset can’t do that, but she did for a time. tl;dr: The Nightmare tells her she’ll revert back to her arishok ways, which prompts Raset to tell Cassandra to make sure she doesn’t.

2. Is your Inquisitor religious? What events shaped their faith (or lack thereof)? Raset is Andrastian! It makes her feel better about herself and that she actually has a place in the world other than just... being a qunari mercenary for hire. She leads the Inquisition in the name of faith as well and she’s very adamant about that fact. Before the Inquisition, she would actually have some from her mercenary group run into Chantries to...get her copies of the Chant of Light. Because in no way would a Chantry allow a qunari in to read their books or anything. And, AU dependent (because my gf and I do have an AU where she meets Cassandra very early on... like I mean, Raset is still arishok early on, and after she leaves Par Vollen, she finds Cassandra again), Cassandra would show her the way to the Maker... well, both her and her mom.   3. Your Inquisitor has had an absolutely terrible day. How do they unwind? Raset has many activities she can use to unwind from a very unpleasant day! She can spare with Cassandra (she’s the only one who gives her a challenge because she doesn’t have to hold back her strength), take a bath, tend to the Skyhold garden (Raset knows everything there is to know about flowers and plants, she keeps a journal about them but that’s another story), sit and talk with Dorian (her best friend besides Leliana and her LI, Cass), sit with Leliana or take a nap under her table (Leliana will cover for her), read a book, or write a letter to her mom to tell her what made her mad (Raset is like, 37, but she’s only known her mom for 14 years... and her mom still probably calls Raset her baby, it’s something not avoidable but something Raset would never give up. Again, a story for another time!) Hey, thank you again for tagging me in this. I love talking about Raset, she’s the love child of my girlfriend and I, just like Mirima Tabris (and she’s also another story for another day).
