Screenshots from Curry and Masa (Android)

These are screenshots from our first app, Curry and Masa. Our inspiration for this game was Donkey Kong Jungle Beat’s simple control scheme, and how such a control scheme would be perfect for mobile gaming. The game is an endless, pseudo-randomly generated platformer starring Curry the Tiger and Masa the Lion, running through vast jungles filled with coins, turtles, and clocks. We have a target release for May of 2016.

Upcoming Project Details

Welcome back to Spectrum Games! Today, we’re proud to announce 3 games that are soon to be in development.

The first, obviously, is Captain Helix. While development may have slowed, the game is still in development. Visit @captainhelix for more information.

The second is known as GRENADE. GRENADE is a mix between rogue-like dungeon crawls and Bomberman, with some significant differences from both examples. This game will also have a big focus on competitive multiplayer, with a targeted 16 maps. Expect to hear more about this in the future.

Finally, we have Curry & Masa, which is actually the name of 2 separate projects. The one targeted for PC and consoles is a platformer with a MAJOR emphasis on Cooperation. If only one person is available, he can still control both characters. The other, targeted for iOS and Android, is a score-attack platformer with simple controls and random levels.
