So I use Google Voice and sometimes the voicemail transcripts are hilariously bad, but this is both some next-level comedy and also a mood:

I have little no time at work for writing for myself, but the Muse does not rest. Sometimes I think of little turns of phrase that would work perfectly in whatever story I’m writing. Trying to remember them when I get home is... not always perfect. So I’ll sometimes jot down notes and stuff to myself to remind myself when I get home.

But when I’m walking to/from the car, or on my way to a meeting, I can’t stop to jot things down. So I’ll use my phone and its voice-recognition to leave myself a little note of whatever it is I thought about.

This afternoon I was on my way to the car and had a pretty good idea for some wording, so I pulled out my phone, fired up the voice-recognition app and left myself a note.

This is what I read when I got home:

Fortunately it’s only been an hour or so, so I kinda remember what I was trying to say. XD
