Speed Brawl Rough and tie down animation.
Speed Brawl is a “2D Combat Racer” and I “want to play it” ⊟
Somehow combining Victorian England with momentum-based brawling, Speed Brawl is a really interesting new game coming to PC, PS4, Xbox One and Switch this summer... published by the web game portal Kongregate? All right! (It’s developed by Double Stallion)
The fast and hard-hitting combat in Speed Brawl will force you to maintain momentum while judiciously managing the available energy used to unleash powerful special moves.
The momentum thing seems to lead to just bouncing around from enemy to enemy and I am here for it.
Fuuuulll disclosure: at least one person working on this action platformer is a Club Tiny member!

Made some fan art of the game Speed Brawl, since I’m like, always playing that game. If you have a switch and don’t own this game, what are you even doing with your life?
I may come back and clean this up later
Speed brawl teaser from Double Stallions!!! Our team at Titmouse Canada worked on this kicka$$ animated short for a few months. It’s the first time I’ve ever had the honor of junior directing alongside a ridiculously talented group of people, shadowed by Sung Jin Ahn! This 2D side scrolling fighter is going to WHOPPAS!!!
Dust and smoke fx are nice things to add in short scenes, it brings a lot of impact to a simple action. I also noticed that I should have cleaned the first one better lol
Last year I had the pleasure to work on the opening sequence for the Double Stallion game "Speed Brawl" :D It was a very fun project to work on, with a bunch of very talented artists from Titmouse Vancouver and LA! This is a compilation of the scenes that I animated. Note: The song and last scene( it is from another project that I worked few years ago) are not part of the project :D
Directed by the awesome Sung-Jin Ahn and the supervised by the extremely talented animation supervisor Ashley Jin Kim.
Here the official full opening video with super rad scenes from some very talented friends:
