Overall, my favorite character death has been that of Siv Thawne's first girlfriend, Gina Rivera, on the night of their senior prom. Gina's telepathic abilities made her a liability, so Siv's father, Eobard Thawne, slit her throat in front of Siv, unintentionally alienating himself from his daughter and turning her onto the path of revenge against him.
Hey Revan, here's my birthday gift to you, a SpeedPsyche drawing <3
I'm sorry if I got anything wrong, or if these clothes don't make sense for them! I tried to keep it close to what was in their posts, but idk if it works lol
Happy early birthday, hope you like it <3
Awwwww they look so cute! And I absolutely adore Gina in the strawberry dress, this is so sweet I love it so much! Thank you so much, you made my day!
Siv Thawne (she/they) and Gina Rivera (she/her) are in a Regency AU!
In a time of deep sexual repression where even the idea of lesbianism barely exists, wealthy heiress Siv Thawne meets Gina Rivera by chance, and from that moment on, neither of them can seem to get enough of each other..
Iliana Ayala Garcia as Gina. Romy Flores as Siv. All images from Pinterest. From @oc-challenges' Pride Challenge.
🤎 for either Siv/Gina or Siv/Hailey (whoever speaks to you more rn <3)
How about... SpeedPsyche angst?
🤎 multiple kisses / kisses all over / kiss after kiss
"Gina?"
Siv froze, eyes wide with disbelief. Gina was there. Gina was alive, somehow. Had the timeline changed without them noticing? No, they would have felt that- the deep ache in their bones and the tingling of their skin would have been enough to tell her something was different.
"Siv?" Gina turned around, flashing a wide smile. She was dressed in her prom dress, brilliant gold shimmering against her skin like an angel's heavenly glow, just as ethereal as the day she lost her.
"You're alive? How?" Tears welled up in the corners of Siv's eyes, a grin of disbelief spreading across her face.
"That doesn't matter." Gina shook her head, embracing Siv.
"You look amazing." A hearty chuckle of joy and still a slight amount of disbelief welled up from Siv's chest. "I missed you."
"I missed you too." Gina pressed her lips to Siv's. Immediately, Siv began to ravenously, passionately kiss Gina's face, the desperate touch of a lover deprived of her girlfriend for so very long. Kiss after kiss peppered Gina's cheeks, lips, forehead, and nose, as Siv cradled Gina's face in her hands.
It felt too good to be true, but somehow, it was real. Gina was there, alive and whole. She could hold her, kiss her, love her in all the ways that she remembered from all those years ago. It was like a dream come true.
But all dreams must come to an end.
Siv felt something ooze onto her palm as they kissed Gina. She took a step back, staring down at her hands. Red, warm, and sticky. Blood. Gina. No.
They almost hesitated to turn their gaze to Gina, since they knew what was coming, but it was best just to rip the metaphorical bandage off and get it over with. Siv looked up, eyes immediately focusing in on the wound across Gina's neck.
Gina's eyes went wide, her hand reaching for her throat as her body went limp, collapsing to the ground. Not again. No. She couldn't do this again.
The wave of grief hit Siv anew, all the repressed feelings they'd never allowed themself to feel hitting like a freight train as they collapsed to their knees, sobbing. She thought she could have Gina back. She thought that everything would be okay- that she could be safe, and Gina would be safe, and they could be happy, somehow. But it was all wrong.
Siv woke with a start, tears in the corners of her eyes. Another nightmare. They'd been having those more lately, ever since their last encounter with Eobard.
Siv pulled off her threadbare blanket, turning so her feet hung off the edge of the bed. It'd been a dream. It wasn't real. Nothing could change the fact that Gina was gone. Siv's dreams and future were still dead and gone in the same resting place that Gina's ashes lay in, and until Eobard was gone and Gina's death had finally gotten justice, there was no hope for reviving them.
