Just when you think 2020's done with us all ...

*haz a sad* I’ve had so many breakfast/lunches there, dragged basically every single one of my friends (and even family) there whenever I was in London. And we always got lucky and got a spot there. Best burger in all of London, most wonderful atmosphere and the nicest people who didn’t roll their eyes at you when you geeked out over everything!!  I will miss them so damn much 😭😭😭

Gutted.  Just when you thought 2020 couldn’t make you any more miserable.

Speedy’s is going to close :( Edit: Apparently not closing, but it’s being sold, with the plan to keep it open. Not sure what will happen to it, so definitely the end of an era.

My one fixed point in London, where I am always welcome and always get hugs and kisses from Chris and Luis, and my Oscar stood in the corner for 8 years and I always brough chocolates and always got my lunch for a fiver, no matter what. Where @naturalshocks and I were photobombed by a bee and I met so many fellow Sherlockians and I drank so, so much tea.

I always thought the HS2 would force it to close down and now its Corona :( I know Chris will be fine, but it’s sad, because Speedy’s was his baby and he was working so hard to keep it running, even though he was struggling in the beginning of March already.

London won’t be the same without it.
