Probably there'll be some pause of Chime arts 🙃. I need to draw a poster for an e-sports tournament I'm attending in 9 days, and the view of empty A2 sheet I bought for this purpose scares me as f. Also I'd love to draw smth from LotM to celebrate upcoming ova, but, unlike dragon raja, the fandom is bigger and there are way more beautiful arts in various styles and I just can't come up with ideas unique enough and within my current skill level🫠
Btw the reason I've been drawing non-stop when students typically have exams is that in 2 weeks I'm officially graduating
(but I'm appying for master's, so I still can't have all summer to relax and draw Chime in peace because of the entrance exam in august😭)
It seems like I turned 17 just yesterday, and now I'm about to get a degree🥶
Ever wondered what the definition of cooked is? Here I am.
I thought the deadline of my grad paper is March 30, this way I thought I have a month to do it, and felt completely OK with it, started writing in my own tempo on march 3rd... But the deadline is March 20🥲 So I have 10 days left for a 50-60p paper... My professor isn't very strict, but imagine if you had a student that messages you about the graduation paper's plan approval 10 days before the deadline... A paper that normal people write for at least a month. + You two had a conversation before, where that student sincerely apologised and told you that she won't go into silence mode and mess with deadlines again...🫠
A circle of desire, guilt and procrastination:
I want to finish this book!! -> no, it's 300+pages in my second language, it's too much, my study deadlines are too close, I don't have that much free time now! -> But it's so good, can't stop thinking about it and focus anyway!!! -> then read it as quickly as possible and start studying at last!!! -> I can't read further, I'm not ready for so sad ending😭 -> Repeat.
I wondered why my set of colored pencils that I bought in 2020 or even earlier isn't running out, and now I finally checked how many shades of different colors there are. There are 3 shades of brown, grey, red and orange, 4x yellow and pink, 5x purple, 9x blue and 9x green. Blue is ok, but WHY SO MUCH GREEN??? Even though that set is not specifically for artists, no, there are even more questions because of that. I understand that I don't really use green because I draw mostly portaits, and I need more shades of brown and gray, but what are even non-artists supposed to do with 9 shades of green, mostly bright?? I think that even if I drew nature more often, I'd barely use some of these pencils (there were some occasions when I needed some green, and none of those 9 matched, while I almost never have problems with other colours in this set). So I have a feeling that I'll never finish this set because of these green pencils...🥲
