My coworker consistently writes “Eisel” instead of “easel.”  And it makes me chuckle every time I see it.

Eisel- is an obscure word for vinegar from French and Latin roots

Easel- is the stand on which you would put a painting, canvass, or something else for display

Magic Day

Today there was a "Magic Day" in my school to raise money for the school play, and we could dress up a magical characters. Two of my friends and I dressed up as Hogwarts students, with wands and all. At some point in the day, we were saying random spells to one another. This girl who is quite nice but has only seen the Harry Potter movies "got" Avada Kedavra, and recognized it. She soon wanted us to lend her a wand but we said she had to name a couple of spells to prove she was worthy. She got into the Harry Potter page and started said "I found a really good one, it's mortal. Here comes..... HOGSMEADE!". I almost died, and we laughed about it like for half an hour.

I just wanted to say, Steam Powered Giraffe taught me how to spell Giraffe.
