Spent some time working on my money bowl today. Spellwork is still so new to me but I can feel my confidence growing every time I practice, and that's the whole point, right?

I also finally cleared the clutter off my altar and it feels so good. I still have stuff coming in the mail so I'm holding off on actual cleaning until those get here but I'm so content with how it's looking so far. Building this altar has been such a process over the last few months and it's one of the most important spots in my home now. I'm excited to keep adding to it.

I want to dress it up a bit for Beltane, as well. I've never celebrated Beltane before though, so that'll take some research.

my altar cloth came, as did some mini prints I bought for my wall. I finally cleaned and cleansed the space and did a touch of rearranging. I have two more prints that won't be here for another little while but other than hanging those, I'm satisfied with how this has come together and I'd say my spring clean of my altar is complete!

So, this is my altar.

It's a fucking mess at the moment. But in the next couple days/weeks I'm going to be getting some Fun mail with things to go on my altar, on the beauty/dream wall behind it, or in my apothecary underneath, and with that in mind I wanna do some spring cleaning of this space and document it a bit here for fun.

Here's our starting point. I'm going to tag all future posts about this as "spring cleaning" so I can go back and look at these progress posts later. ✨

Progress has been made on spring cleaning my altar.

I sorted what I could of my herbs into jars and labelled them, and reorganized my shelves. They still look a bit like a mess but it's an organized mess where I know where everything is and it's exactly where I need it to be.

Once some more of my things come in the mail I'll be able to really dive into rearranging the actual altar and hanging things up and that really good, fun shit.

With that in mind, I'm going to spend some time this week trying to clear it off so I can give the surface a good scrub and the energy a good cleanse.

Gotta make way for the new. 🌿
