Spelljack (Judgment) - Pete Venters
Stop doing this. You're not being clever, you're just being thick. You know that saying "And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you."? That is basically how I would describe you. Somewhere along the line you shifted from making parodies to being out right creepy. I find it difficult to dilude myself in thinking that you don't understand what you're doing. Sit atop your mighty throne, give shit to all the hardworking artists in the world. You hypocritical tool. <3 Jack
this is what tom tells me too

Pen Death Toll: 1 (Exams, Week 1)
Yes. I have already killed a pen. May you rest in peace in writing utensil heaven. *angel choirs*
This week has been stressful, to say the least. I've finished 4 exam sessions out of 15 or 16 (next week is really going to be hellish - 7 exam sessions). I...I'm so nervous about next week. Some of my worst subjects - Physics and WAS, and Math Paper 3, among the 7. Massive studying (which I don't usually do...I have zero focus) is in order this weekend.
Summary of this week's papers:
Monday: no exams
It was almost weird. Willy (orch) was like, "WHOA WHAT ARE YOU DOING SITTING IN FRONT OF ME SHOULDN'T YOU BE SLAVING OVER AN ESSAY" and I was like, "nup, tomorrow."
Tuesday morning: English A1 HL, Paper 1
This was only bad because of 2 things: firstly, I spent the first hour of the 2 hour time period nodding off. Apparently I need more than 7 hours of sleep before exams to do well. >< Secondly, I didn't finish, although I will say I wrote a heck of a lot faster than usual (while trying to keep my handwriting neat...o.O) because I realized I was probably going to be short on time. There was some pretty cool psychoanalysis stuff I managed to do on the prose passage I picked (the poetry was just...whack), and I picked out an interesting interpretation. Not too shabby for my first IB HL paper ever, in my humble opinion. Total pages written: 3 front&back plus another half a page.
Wednesday afternoon: Math HL, Paper 1
Oh gosh. Remember when we used to be good at math? Well apparently it's just Aaron now (the only person to finish the test!).
Oh yes. Dear Aaron, I have no words to express how grateful I am to you for donating your time & rehashing vectors with me Tuesday night at Barnes. Your infinite patience is something I really appreciate and admire. You're the best. Sincerely, me. :)
Yeah, one third of Section B was a vector question. Even if there weren't any vector questions I would still be endlessly thankful for having acquired the knowledge. When I say I love my friends, I truly mean it. You guys are so kind & supportive to me - I can't believe how lucky I am.
Back to math-testing land, I attempted 100 of the 120 marks on the test. Of those 100, I expect to get a little fewer than 80 (give or take, depending on method marks). I think that puts me in the low-7-high-6 range? Total sheets attached: 07 (I think)
Thursday morning: Math HL, Paper 2
This was an inordinately hard test. Again, Aaron finished & was the only one to do so. On this test I attempted to start each question (I guess you could say I attempted all 120 marks?), HOWEVER I'm only expecting to get 75-ish marks due to only finishing parts of Section B. Section B was REALLY bad on this paper. I did complete every question on Section A except #10 though, although #10 was worth a bit more than average (7 marks). Total sheets attached: 06 (I think)
Thursday afternoon: Music HL, Paper 1
There's only 1 paper to the Music HL test - the rest of the exam grade is based on a Musical Investigation (2000 word paper), 12-ish minutes of composition work, and 20-ish minutes of performance. In other words, everything else was sent in before.
This test was SO MUCH HARDER than I had expected! It was basically, "Ohai, write 7 essays in 3 hours, go!" 20 marks each. Needless to say, I didn't finish. I didn't even know how in depth I was supposed to go, and I usually err on the side of verbosity (is that a word?), so I basically wrote way too much. I finished 5 of the 7 essays and started the other 2 barely. Estimated marks around 100 of 140 if I'm lucky and I wrote about the right stuff (pray...), and I don't even want to think about if I'm not lucky. Total sheets attached: 11 (9 front&back, 2 half pages - basically 19 pages of writing total)
Friday: no tests (same as Monday)
I'm so glad. I got to sleep in a bit longer - so much so that my mom got supermad at me. o.O I did have a migraine when I went to bed yesterday so my head was throbbing. I guess that makes up for it?
tl;dr
Exams are long and not fun. Too much more of the same next week. Too much writing. Expect the death of more pens.
I'm out.
