             did her mother deserve a love where her HUSBAND cheated on her? she doesn’t think so. ❝ how long did it take you to starting questioning that about alec? even if you describe love as something DEEP and profound, i won’t know until it hits me. if it ever hits me.❞ she adds that DISCLAIMER, a part of her very content with her lifestyle. isabelle oozes her sexuality like the clothes she wears, HUGGING onto the frame of curves. ❝ i think you’re always going to SACRIFICE a part of yourself in any relationship. good or bad. ❞

      HEARTS ARE BREAKABLE, she muses in her head. it’s apparent even to a centuries old warlock, maybe even with her parents too. knowing what her father has done equipped isabelle with her the necessary ARMOR to keep her heart guarded. for her this is a wound that won’t be HEALED by a simple rune. there’s a WIDE smile to see her brother find love in his first relationship. this warms the iciness in her heart. she TILTS her head, leaning against the railing of the balcony. spilled ink curls follow the LULL of the slight breeze picking up. mocha eyes rest on the warlock she’s come to approve of for her brother. ❝ love is SCARY, but i think you forget that no one loves harder than a lightwood.❞ PRIDES drizzles on her tongue as she speaks each word. ❝ you’re my brother’s first in everything and speaking as his sister, i think he may be in love with you too. ❞

    ❝ i see it when he comes to me for ADVICE about you or when you two are together. you guys have overcome a lot of OBSTACLES, so i think you should put your faith in him, too.❞ for isabelle she knows better, falling in love is not an option for her. she’s not serious about anyone, not even meliorn. it’s brought to her attention that her & magnus have stage fight when it comes to the word: love. ❝ this is about MAKING the next step, it’s a risk, but you know it takes two to make a relationship. by the angel, i’ll kick my brother’s ass if he breaks your heart.❞ that was isabelle’s word.
