A few years ago, we knew Spencer Ludwig as the dashing trumpet guy in Capital Cities. Fast forward to today, and the fast rising vocalist/instrumentalist is quickly etching out his own space in the indie scene as a solo artist. Spencer embarks on the next phase of that career with the release of his latest single, Just Wanna Dance, an utterly infectious eruption of disco funk imbued glittery pop. Of course, no Spencer Ludwig track is complete without some jocular trumpet solos to keep us grooving. The only thing left to do is to get up and dance the night away to the fresh and funky treat. The rest of 2018 is going to be massive for Spencer Ludwig. YouTube chose him as one of ten acts for their prestigious “Artists In Residence” program. He kicked off the year opening for The Chainsmokers and Jason Derulo, and he just wrapped up his tour with Betty Who, but he’ll be performing at Bonnaroo and so much more in the coming months, too.
