Just released a new album! Nine tracks of electronic jazz-funk inspired by samurai movies and other of my special interests. Check it out and let me know what you think!
A tasty new groove for @iced-uppancake 's project 'Arise Guardian Angel', specifically the theme for the main character, Angel!
As always, this track is also available on my YouTube and Bandcamp!

Though Electric Guest is based out of Los Angeles, project leader Asa Taccone seems to have come home to roost in the Bay in the new video for their latest single Dollar, a groovy hooking pop return for the duo. The music video shot across San Francisco and East Bay locales was even directed by Jorma Taccone, Asa’s brother and member of renowned The Lonely Island. Dollar is a fresh summer jam. Its video leaves me wondering... is that DeLorean hover craft for real? I want to take a spin in it down nostalgia lane if so! Dollar, which is Electric Guest’s first single on Atlantic Records, is available, here. The pair plan on releasing their debut album on the major label this October!
Gramatik - Just Jammin’
new album! An Immortality of Crabs is a collection of groove- and vgm-inspired tracks that have been done for like a year and are now being released. Check it out on bandcamp or jam.coop!
abolish the frontier between the unfinished and the finished
Now that we’ve come to realize that new All The Rest surfaced over a week ago, we know better than to put it on the “backburner”. Though we just stumbled across Backburner earlier today, we’re making sure it gets it’s spot here straight away! The quartet from Atlanta, Georgia continue their abrupt climb towards the top with their latest 80s inspired indie track, a sleek and sexy electro-charged number with hints of that recent darker tone of MGMT and Michael Jackson-esque vocals embellishing its funky flourish. All The Rest’s Backburner is one of their best jams yet. We can’t begin to predict what other goodies this band has up their sleeves. Stream/download Backburner, here.
