Having a couple of hours before his shift at the Break Room, CJ decided to hit the mall. He didn't really need anything, just enjoying walking around people watching. Stopping by the food court, he got himself a corndog and a cake-pop, sitting himself down on the first available seat. "Honestly, man, more food should be served on sticks. Why do things taste better when they're like...skewered?"

“Yo, dude!” CJ called. He knew he had saw Spencer earlier when getting on the boat, but things were getting crazy now, and it was hard to see who was around to speak properly to. But he was glad to see him, gesturing him over, almost aggressively placing a red solo cup of beer in the teacher’s hands. “Settle a debate, is there like a Sea Marshal, the way there’s a Fire Marshal and an Air Marshal?”

The sun had been particularly more tenacious today, which was bad for Phoebe, who was already on the last of her sunblock that morning, being informed that she had burned slightly, her shoulders stinging slightly at the revelation. She had headed down to the cabin, the hosts not particularly caring who went where, to have a proper view of her shoulders, red splotches peppered from her shoulders to her collarbone, and even slightly on her nose, in the large bathroom mirror, deciding to rummage through the cabinets in hunt for any sunblock or even just some sort of cooling ointment. She heard the sliding door budge, causing her to jump, letting out a little soft laugh of relief at it being Spencer, and not someone who’d potentially get in trouble with. “I, uh, was just looking for some lotion, I uh, caught the sun.” Phoebe pointed to the sore skin. “Who’s boat do you think it is?”

Though more of a daredevil in her younger years, the older she got, the more nervous rollercoasters made her. Perhaps it was the lack of time of heading to the amusement park as she grew up, thinking back to the times her mom let her skip school so they had a whole day here when it was open.
But she wasn't going to let her apprehension stop her, especially on a day where everything was free, and the less money she spent, the better.
She was waiting in line for the ferris wheel, being the last in the queue at the time, behind couples of parents with kids that were just a bit too small for the scarier rides. Phoebe didn't mind the small wait, refreshing her email on her phone to see if any jobs had gotten back to her, no longer paying attention to her surroundings. Once the wheel stopped and the other riders got off, the man ushered both her and whoever was behind her, and she didn't realise who she was in the carriage with until it moved up slightly to let the next pair in.
"Spencer, hi." She greeted, strained, but not as unkind as the tone she used last time she saw him.
