Genyatta Week Day 4 Day 3: Fireworks
I awaken from my hibernation with a day-late prompt for my favorite OW boys

Finally got something out in time for Genyatta Week! Well, the fic itself isn’t on time for the prompt, but it still got out during the week, so I count that as a win. Motivated to write by the wonderful @phyllissy‘s drawings this week; it’s wonderful to keep seeing these two dummies all these years later! Ao3 info is under the read more cut.
Going through the Coliseum twice was a slog (you only unlock 15 layers after the story, so you have to play through those to get the full 30 layers), but that's another trophy down! Hopefully the different system sectors provide a break from the layers of that maze...
Only took me 7-8 years after I originally got it for the DS, but I've finally fully finished a playthrough of Re:Coded! (To be fair, I almost beat it when I first got it, but I didn't wanna finish Castle Oblivion without all the Olympus cards, and then my 3DS case started breaking, so I switched to an emulator and played it on-and-off for months...)
Feel pretty proud to say I beat it at level 15 as well! Continuing my journey to collect all the trophies!
Getting back into crochet again--well, technically, I got seriously back into it around fall of last year, but finishing classes has made me able to actually catch up on my backlog of projects (and that has given me motivations to start new ones).
Not sure if I should post any completed works; most of them are slightly modified or copies of patterns I find around the Internet, so dunno how interesting it'd be, but could be fun to share, and maybe a way to keep my blog a lil more active (I'm not good at this whole "putting myself on social media" thing; much more of a lurker).
me, downloading yet another art software: haha this will be fun to learn
me to myself: cool, are you gonna finish any projects that will use this?
me: :)
my laptop: augg please my "Projects" folder is becoming an unmanageable file tree
Goddamn it's been a while. I was really excited to post for Genyatta Week after not interacting in fandom for a while, but the combination of not having written in months + some doctor appointments + the holiday season, and I have...nothing to show for it.
I'm really hoping that my more relaxed college classes this semester means I'll be able to actually finish more creative works. I might even tentatively have a New Year's resolution to make at least a certain amount of fics/drawings/pictures, I haven't decided yet.
In any case, I have some more ideas for projects and I'll hopefully have something to show for it in the coming months, so at least look out for maybe some quick sketches! (Most likely of faces. I am not good at drawing about anything else...)
