Today is my birthday and someone at work asked me if I had any exciting plans for the evening. I told them no; I have no plans. They then proceeded to look at me like I was crazy, but the truth is having no plans and expectations sounds perfect to me. 😶

💋 Freeform - I'm curious: if you could only recommend one fic to read from your post-TROS Damerey series which would it be? Why?

I think it would have to be a toss up between your Chasing Sunshine and Batuu Princess' Three Nights on Yavin 4. I re-read one a lot and catch up on the other often (hint hint! LOL).

As for my own post-TROS fave, Naboo is still my pride and joy. The story came easy, the emotion was real, and I still love re-reading it to this day, which says a lot! It was also the first time I really wrote a significant amount from Poe's POV, and that just made me fall for him even more.

When did you start to love Star Wars?

From the minute I first saw it! I was around ten years old and my parents had recorded a TV broadcast of the original trilogy on VHS tape. Yes, VHS tape! So my first experience watching the OT was spent fast-forwarding through recorded commercials. 🤣 (We eventually got official VHS followed by DVD copies a few years later.)

What's your five favorite star wars characters?

Okay, this is really really difficult because I adore so many different characters. For the sake of my own sanity, I'm going to exclude droids and non-canon characters from this list:

Rey Skywalker

Luke Skywalker

Poe Dameron

Obi-Wan Kenobi

Kanan Jarrus (Caleb Dume)

Kanan is probably the surprise of this list and I think he surprises me too, but I loved his entire story arc in Rebels and balled out crying when he died. (I still do to this day.)

Cal Kestis, Cassian Andor, Ezra Bridger, and Sabine Wren are some of my other favorites, but considering there seems to be a lot of upcoming stories left to tell with those characters, its hard for me to currently put them in my top 5, who mostly have a full story already set around them.
