Now that the varnishing (1x clear, 1x black & 3x clear) is done, this Lady Caroline has a lovely smooth and shiny head that really sets the pattern off. The old spey flies really are a bit special. The elegant sweeping lines and long delicate hackles make this style one of my favourites. First classic fly in a long time, the Durham Ranger on a vintage Pryce Tannat 2/0. Used subs for the Indian crow and chatterer.
