Hey guys,

I was reading comments and spotted a few people asking for drugstore skincare recommendations for oily skin types. So today I’ll be chatting you through two of my ride or die products from Revolution Skincare that I adore and I think you will too.

Starting off we have the Revolution Skincare 10% Niacinamide and 1% Zinc Blemish & Pore Serum for £10. This serum is a blemish and pore refining serum which helps to reduce the look of blemishes and pores on the skin while also soothing the skin. This serum is recommend for oily, congested and blemish prone skin. The reason I love this serum so much is that the ingredients are designed to regulate the skins natural oil to help reduce shine during the day. It’s also great to reduce the appearance of blemishes and help take away redness. You can use this oil free serum daily in your routine and use it before primer personally or before foundation / powder if I’m not wearing primer.

Next up we have the Revolution Skincare SPF30 Oil Control Moisturiser 50ml £10.00. This is my favourite drugstore moisturiser and it literally decided for people with oily skin and has a great SPF level for those complexions! There is also a version that is designed for dry and normal skin types on their site. This moisturiser is created to protect skin from harmful UV rays that can cause sun damage, without leaving a white cast , making it amazing for all skin tones. It is formulated with Niacinamide like the serum to help to control oiliness and even skin tone. It also has Glycerin which helps to draw water into the skin to prevent dehydration and Urea and Allantoin help to soothe irritation. It’s the perfect cream to wear everyday whether you are doing a full face or aren’t planning to wear any makeup. I am obsessed with the matte yet hydrating finish it gives my skin and I couldn’t recommend it more.

I love these 2 products and if like me you have oily skin, you really do need to check out these products. Even if you don’t have oily skin but just want to reduce/ control shine or need a product with SPF head over to www.revolution.com to see the whole range. You won’t regret it and these products are much more price friendly and honestly just as good as some of my luxury beauty products.

Don't Leave The House Without This SPF Makeup

The trend for makeup products that boast ingredients traditionally found in skincare has exploded in recent years, with the lines dividing these two categories becoming increasingly blurred. Such is the case with SPF makeup - there are now a plethora of makeup products available that offer sun protection to supplement your usual skincare, while still bringing their usual lash-lengthening, base-beautifying magic.
